Saying Farewell to the Metrodome

I'm writing this late on Saturday night as a placeholder post. I've just returned from a wedding in Chicago, and I'm flying out tomorrow (Sunday) morning to Mimneapolis, where I'll take in the final (scheduled regular season) baseball game in the history of the Metrodome, with which I have quite a history and which I will have to give a proper eulogy at some point. I'm flying back on Monday morning. So if this post goes up, that means I ran out of time to write a proper post for Monday, as I hope you can understand. But I'll be back with a report -- and pictures? Video? Who knows? -- by tomorrow morning.
